Terms of Use

These terms explain the boundaries of using NoFi Diary, a creative, offline-first digital diary.

About NoFi

NoFi Diary is a creative, offline-first digital diary for making and keeping personal memories.

↑

Age requirement

You must be at least 16 to use NoFi. Additional requirements under your local law may apply.

↑

Ownership of memories

Your memories remain your content. NoFi does not acquire ownership of your photographs, recordings, text, or other diary material.

↑

Local storage

Local-first storage means an unexported memory may be lost if your device is lost or damaged, storage is erased, the app is deleted, or hardware or software fails. Export memories that are important to you.

↑

Permissions

Camera, microphone, Wi-Fi or Nearby devices, and related Android permissions are required only for the corresponding features. You can decline them, although that feature may then be unavailable.

↑

User-created and imported content

You are responsible for having the right to use photographs, recordings, copyrighted works, images of other people, and other third-party material you create, receive, or import.

↑

Recording other people

Camera and audio features are not legal permission to record, photograph, or publish another person. You are responsible for obtaining any required consent and complying with applicable law.

↑

Export and sharing

Once you export or share content, NoFi does not control copies held by other apps, people, devices, or services.

↑

Nearby transfer

Send to and receive from trusted people and devices only. Proximity alone does not guarantee a person's identity. You decide what to send and what to accept.

↑

No public social network

The current NoFi release is not a public social network. It has no public feed, public user profiles, comment system, or public community.

↑

Intellectual property

Your content remains yours. NoFi's software, brand, original visual identity, graphics, interface, documentation, and original assets remain protected. This does not claim rights over third-party elements distributed under their own licences.

↑

Third-party and open-source components

Open-source and third-party components remain subject to their respective licences and notices.

↑

Availability and changes

NoFi is evolving software. Features, supported Android versions, compatibility, and fixes may change. Perpetual availability or support is not promised.

↑

Technical limitations

No software can guarantee error-free operation on every Android device, manufacturer customisation, or version. This does not remove mandatory consumer rights.

↑

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, responsibility is assessed under applicable law and the circumstances. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

↑

Third-party platforms

Google Play, your operating system, cloud storage, social media, messaging apps, and other sharing destinations have their own terms and privacy practices.

↑

Ending use and uninstalling

You may stop using NoFi at any time. Uninstalling the app may delete local data that you have not exported.

↑

Applicable law

Italian and EU law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights applicable based on your place of residence.

↑

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as NoFi or applicable law changes. The date above identifies the current version.
